Use of AI: I use AI as a baseline for melodies, but all lyrics are human-generated. I hope to move away from AI as I become more knowledgeable about composing melodies.
I'm a poet and lyricist living in the DC area. I have a bunch of songs in various stages of completion and am also a beginner vocalist. I'm looking for people in the DC area to sing, play and perform with. I recently was awarded first prize in the Great British Lyric contest for my song "Phantom Limb."

Hello All! I just stubbled upon this site; I'm thrilled it exists! As of this writing, I'm simply a guitar chord-strummer with limited playing abilities, but I so love creating lyrics! I love writing mostly C&W lyrics and put them with simply 3 to 7 simple chord progressions. So SATISFYING! I think many are good, but I have no objective collaborators or mentors or mastermind alliances to help me create arrangements and much deeply layered music. My goal is no different from most of you on this ...

Tell me what you want, hooks, lyrics , story , just a song with a little extra push. I enjoy the way I can be lost in lyrics that turns into songs and this is just a way of me freeing my mind and also helping anyone who can use this skill I had gain over time. The lyrics with rhythms makes this such a wonderful experience to me and who ever wants to collab.

Use of AI: Vocals and music using original style, tempo, instruments etc etc( to save money on Demo production)
All original lyrics and while using AI to help construct the melodies I am super detailed in style, temp, vocal style, genre, mood , etc etc so the melodies are original too in essence of the song
I began writing songs when I was in my early twenties and at that time had professional demos made in Nashville. I went up and down music row handing them out to whoever would listen. Eventually Ed Russell of castle records heard our material and he signed 3 of our songs to publishing deals on his record label Castle Records. This ultimately allowed me to get my professional credentials as a new BMI member. While none of the songs achieved commercial success the publishing deal did help us ...

I'm an amateur musician. I played bass guitar in a jazz ensemble group up to 3 years ago when I started to lose hearing in my right ear. Since then I've focused on self-study and putting together songs using a computer, interface, and various instruments (bass, keyboard, guitar). I'm not proficient in any of these instruments but have gotten better through this exercise. I've enjoyed the whole process, but especially like writing the songs. I'd like to accelerate this process by working wi...
