About
- I'm a songwriter looking to collaborate with other like-minded songwriters.
- I'm a songwriter who wants others to record my songs.
- I'm a singer who writes songs. I am looking for musicians/composers/producers to help complete my songs.
I have written songs for 6 or 7 years now and it brings me so much pleasure and joy. I have met some amazing people and hugely progressed in my writing after joining, “The Songwriting Academy.’ Two of my tracks have been on BBC Radio Bristol. I also achieved a ‘semi-finalist,’ position in 2022’s.’ UK Songwriting Contest.’
I have recently completed two years’ mentoring with, ‘The Songwriting Academy,’ with professional mentors. Last May I travelled to Spain to spend a week collaborating with other writers and musicians.
I love writing in collaborations or for personal projects and have a view to becoming an artist.
I have worked with Bernii Mac of, ‘Becoming the Artist,’ giving group support to artists around their mental health.
At work, I support staff with mental health difficulties. I am a trainer and I also work one day a week for Exeter University as a Lecturer.
I’m not all about songs and I love walking, nature and painting.

Dreams & ambitions
I work in the country and folk genres and love both lyric writing and writing melodies. I love improving my writing and spend a lot of time studying what makes a great song, particularly in terms of lyrics. I want to go as far as I can as a songwriter and have aspirations to become an artist. As a group facilitator and trainer I also enjoy running my own groups and in the past have run a songwriting circle and paid sessions for a young person.
