Sadly, his origin story does not involve a radioactive spider or a nuclear explosion but instead an interaction with a group of youths on Tufnell Park Road who shouted after him, “Yo, daddy cool…Slow Walk!” The following day he laughed about the incident with a friend and Slow Walk was born.
It’s this ability to see the humour in most situations that is Slow Walk’s number one super power and heavily informs his songs. Influenced by a wide variety of witty and observational songwriters such as Ray Davies, Morrissey, Jarvis Cocker and Rivers Cuomo, Slow Walk’s mission is to fight the injustices of the world and right the wrongs by writing passionate, insightful and sometimes humorous songs. Some would say that martial arts, high tech gadgets and super strength would be much better in this fight. Slow Walk would disagree.
Since he played his first gig in an open mic tent in Glastonbury, Slow Walk has played all around London with an acoustic, a loop pedal and sometimes a band and has drawn comparisons to Lou Reed, Jim Noir, Jamie T and David Bowie.
His victories so far have included writing songs for many short and feature films including the critically acclaimed My Brother The Devil.
His last few releases have included When Your Love Goes Away, a song written after he lost his amazing parents, Sherlock Holmes Would Know, about a hapless fool in love who wishes he was the famous detective so he could crack the case of his failing relationship and Hangman, a journey into the wild wild web where online mobs and trolls run rampant.
He also produced videos for these songs himself.

I have been writing and recording songs for many years.
Though I produce my own material, my primary skill is songwriting. I enjoy writing lyrics and finding unique concepts for songs and am currently working on a book of over a hundred lyrics from songs I have written.
I have written songs for short films, features and corporate films.
I am looking to find producers to collaborate with on writing songs for sync placements and for other artists.

The Shivers is about a pretty nasty breakup and how it is easy to follow the path of anger and bitterness. Bit this will only lead to a bad case of the shivers.
Shop For Two tells the tale of a man living a solitary life of microwave meals and move nights for one who has almost given up on the idea of sharing his life with another. Almost.

Hangman takes us on a rip roaring ride through the wild wild web, a land full of anonymous online trolls and bullies instantly ready to form a posse and hang any suspected outlaw without the need for evidence, facts or trials. It is a satirical and humorous take on the genuinely scary and somewhat crazy world of the internet. So, join our reluctant hero as he attempts to escape the noose.

Sherlock Holmes Would Know focuses on the rather elementary tale of a hapless fool who suspects his lover of foul play but isn't smart enough to break the case, so he daydreams of being the legendary detective and solving the mystery that is his life. But sometimes mysteries are best left unsolved.
