About

  • I'm a songwriter looking to collaborate with other like-minded songwriters.
  • I'm a songwriter who wants others to record my songs.
  • I'm a lyricist looking for musicians to write music to my lyrics.
I have been writing lyrics for a friend who puts my lyrics to music and sings them.
My song lyrics mirror life itself = love, divorce, adultery, sadness, happiness, hope.
A mixed bag of genres. Free to use.
I’m happy to change lyrics to suit the singer, musician and producer.
I’m sure that some of the lyrics are definitely hit material in the right hands.
Utube has some examples of my lyrics.
Sound cloud has my lyrics recorded, sung & produced by Kevin Lyons
Views vary several songs have a very good viewing number.
I have an ambition to see my lyrics sung on MSM by an individual or group.
I thank everyone who has the passion, energy, drive and inspiration to make music.
Thanks,
Keith

Lyrics

You don’t need me now

Oldies, Pop, Blues, Soul

Something’s wrong you don’t need me now Stay out late I ask why and you start a row New clothes perfumes cleaner whiter teeth out late nights visiting sick elderly relative You don’t care about our life together now you need money you’ve spent all our cash Telling lies saying it’s for a friend whose ill You never ever ask me how I feel I know you don’t need me now signs you can’t deny anymore I ask what’s wrong is it me ? are you sick walking away never saying a thing You say it’s late you need to get some sleep face down in the pillow I hear you weep I’m pretending, I’m asleep I know you don’t need me now You’re cold never give me a reason why your phone rings the one you hide The house it’s cold a feeling of gloom pretend to read but as I enter the room How much longer can this charade play out your attitude to me leaves me in no doubt When you’re ready to go you won’t tell me I hope you’ll be OK then we’ll both be happy Chorus I know you’re going to leave me one day waiting for your lover to come take you away I’m in love with you I want you to be happy Wish I could be the one to make it happen Living close together not having your love It’s like being alive without a beating heart your icy cold emotion never a nice word you’re happiness once meant my world 06/12/2025
