About

  • I'm a songwriter looking to collaborate with other like-minded songwriters.
  • I'm a songwriter who wants others to record my songs.
I am a songwriting, based in the North of Scotland who has been writing on a more serious level for the past 3 years. Although I am a musician and write and perform most of the music for my tracks, as well as the lyrics, I am not a vocalist so have had to rely on using paid-for vocalists to add the finishing touch to my songs.
I've had some very modest success-4 songs finishing as semi-finalists in UK Songwriting Contest, 1 song being selected as "Best Song for March" by SongwriterUniverse and another co-written song finishing 3rd in 2022's Woman's Freedom Song Contest.
My tracks to date, have been written with a tv/film sync goal in mind, but open to other directions too!

The Place That We Know

A collaboration example

This track is a 'finished' example of my songwriting style and placed as semi-finalist in UK Songwriting Contest for 2020 as well as winning "Hot 100" Contest on Broadjam in Dec'20. It features vocals from Cooper Moss (Nashville). This is the best track to demonstrate the style/genre that I am most comfortable within.

Disappearance (Demo)

Full demo song with music and vocals

This is a track that I've been working on and that I feel could become something decent. I've had vocals added at an early stage but the topline/melody needs some changes made. Considerations are whether this should be a female-sung track (if so, the melody will be re-written at a higher pitch) or whether a male vocal might work. I would be curious to have any feedback or thoughts on how/where to take this next. If any vocalists were willing to have a go at adding vocals, this would be a possibility too. All thoughts welcome! Please note, I am aware that the current vocals are not pitch perfect and were only added to give an indication of how the song could sound! And...I realise that the beat goes on beyond the length of the vocals!
