Lyrics
In the wind
Country
How can I forget you
Climbing into bed
When I can still smell your perfume in the pillow that held your head
I roll over to your side
My lungs take you in
Like a ghost come to haunt me
Leaving my heart twisting in the wind
In the wind
My heart twisting in the wind
Your gone now Leaving me twisting in the wind
It's so hard getting past a love that shouldn't end
I try to get warm on your side
Where a fire should have been
How can I forget you
Climbing into bed
When I can still smell your perfume
In the pillow that held your head
I roll over to your side
My lungs take you in
Like a ghost come to haunt me
Leaving my heart twisting in the wind
In the wind
My heart twisting in the wind
Your gone now Leaving me twisting in the wind
Sometimes I walk for miles in the rain
With whiskey to kill the pain
In the wind
My heart twisting in the wind
Your gone now Leaving me twisting
in the wind
Twisting in the wind
