Lyrics
All Those Words of Love
Folk
When they slowly
begin to flow,
all those words —
of love, you know —
from some cherished
song so true,
once sung
just for you.
In the warmth
of summer’s arms,
so close to the sea,
you’re walking
in the footsteps
of ancient, lovely dreams.
Your memories
awaken dreamily,
calling back
old reflections,
dear again,
as they once were,
when they flowed
through your veins.
You’re sitting,
softly dreaming,
in the shade of the trees,
by the river,
at the heart
of your lovely, sunlit city.
In the warmth
of summer’s arms,
so close to the sea,
you’re walking
in the footsteps
of ancient, lovely dreams.
