About

I'm a songwriter looking to collaborate with other like-minded songwriters.
I'm a producer/composer looking for songwriters and singers to work with.

My name is Thomas Simm I am a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter/composer with previous touring experience and radio exposure. I have a range of musical ideas and the ability and equipment to record these as demos in my home studio. Whilst I have written my own lyrics previously, I do not find them to be my natural talent, and so I am looking for people with a real lyrical passion to collaborate with.

Dreams & ambitions

Within my previous musical journey I led a semi-professional folk-rock band, releasing 2 EPs and a single, we played at the Cambridge Folk Festival, Secret Garden Party, Great British Folk Festival and a number of smaller events. Within this context I have been featured on a number of local BBC and other commercial radio station playlists and one song was previously picked up by BBC introducing.

This group has now ended and I am looking to start a new project with a broader musical outlook, incorporating acoustic and digital music together in order to create a captivating listening experience that could be transposed into live performance.

My dream is to pursue music professionally and I hope that collaboration with a lyricist will support success for both myself and them in that context.

Lyrics

It cracked my mind, it broke my heart, But it blew me away at the start, It stole my time, tore me apart, But now my real life can start. So come what may to overthrow, the loves I’ve had, for the love I’ll know Though chances thrown lost to the sea, There is a peace, deep within me.
