Hi everyone
My name is Colin and I live in Torquay in sunny Devon
I've been writing song lyrics for about 6 years
I've reached a point now where I believe my lyrics are good enough to see if I can take my writing from a hobby to a money earning level
I cannot read music or play an instrument.
I am looking to collaborate with someone who can put music to my words
I am quite happy to collaborate on lyrics and to act as a mentor if the right person comes along
Growing up I was influenced by the Beatles and the Mersey sound. In recent years I listen mainly to country music. Heavily influenced by the 50's stars like Webb Pierce, Lefty Frizzell and Ray Price
My lyrics range from a rap through ballads to hard core country
I will upload some of my lyrics and if you think you could work with me and help produce brilliant music then please do let me know
