Elizabeth Ellis

I'm a copywriter with 25 years of professional creative experience... and a secret! I have always, ALWAYS dreamed of collaborating with a composer to write songs.

I was a serious singer in my younger life, and have had significant professional success with my commercial writing (ads, taglines, marketing copy of all kinds). I have written exactly one song in my life, at a workshop years ago, and long to repeat that delightful experience.

I'm open to any genre but would probably be most successful in folk, R&B, indie, musical theater, or country, as these are the styles that I connect with most instinctively.

I'm capable of generating and executing wholly original ideas for songs / melodies, but would be even more excited to take my lead from a partner's music, lending my writing abilities to support his or her creative vision.

I'm seeking collaborative experience at this stage and expect nothing in return. Down the road, if successful, I would hope to bring lyric-writing into my mix of professional paid freelance writing projects.
