I wrote a poem for my mum Suzanne Rogers How on earth Did you give birth To a another you. It’s amazing to me To see beauty is in who we be and so I pray Every single day I say thanks to the powers in the sky. Guardian angels watch me sleep They protect me so I do not weep Josie, Ollie, Gemma and Dennis to Watching over me and you. Like a butterfly Or an angel Whatever you call it Believe I’m lying or making it up I’ve seen through spirits ignited They see the future I’m surely delighted My heart is open too Powers exist They will be missed But don’t say goodbye As they live in the sky. Far away They’ve gone to say To Look out for us. It’s a plus Don’t get down Fix your crown Make them proud Let’s be loud Make a scene As we do Togetherness In me and you. Mum I promise to love you Everyday I may not stay but just so you know Busy may we be We are so the same You teach me to be More than just me But better for society. I’m proud of you You make me glad To call you mum Now don’t get sad And stop your tears Love is near. Have no fear As we already know Warrior in every way Making through everyday With fun and laughter. Joy and hope. Even if we are finding it hard to cope. With the pressures of everyday. We get down But time to say Hey. Kick some arse. Don’t let it pass. Time is precious it makes me think. I’ve got more poems to come . Hope you liked it . Your my mum x
