About
- I'm a songwriter looking to collaborate with other like-minded songwriters.
- I'm a songwriter who wants others to record my songs.
- I'm a lyricist looking for musicians to write music to my lyrics.
- I'm a singer who writes songs. I am looking for musicians/composers/producers to help complete my songs.
I'm a singer-songwriter and guitar player based in New Bern, North Carolina with an emphasis on songwriter, that's my passion and my forte. I have lots of original material but most of my songs are still in the bare-boned guitar and vocal stage and need to be filled out. So a technically oriented producer-arranger would be an ideal collaborator for me. I'll upload examples of both fully produced songs of mine from the past and guitar-vocal songs that still need to be filled out. As a songwriting partner I wouldn't mind partnering with a composer so I could focus on the lyrics (which I think I'm really strong at) but I write both words and music.

Lyrics
Santa Catarina Girl
Pop, Rock, Folk, Singer-Songwriter
South of the Tropic of Capricorn
Buff mountains bow before the prettiest beach
Far from the desert where I was born
On sands of gold under fiery skies of peach
Her impossible beauty now within my reach
I knew the moment that I first saw her
That my life would never ever be the same
Her aura as strong as Brazilian surf
Her sultriness like the salty ocean rain
Her name
Santa Catarina Girl
Voce e muito bonito
Deep eyes of Escorpiao
I'm lost in the sea of
In the eternal deep of
My Santa Catarina
Santa Catarina girl
She breathes the passion of the tango
Deep inside her roars a red-hot burning flame
She reads my psyche like the cosmos
A world class interpreter of the stars by trade
My sweet ambassador to the Milky Way
Her name
Santa Catarina girl
Voce e muito bonito
Deep eyes of Escorpiao
I'm lost in the sea of
The eternal deep of
My Santa Catarina
Santa Catarina girl
Her name makes sunshine out of the rain
Holds the mysteries of the age
Ethnicity and cachet
Brazil, Italy and Spain
All contained within her name
England, Portugal, USA
All contained within her name
Her name
Santa Catarina girl
Voce e muito bonito
Deep eyes of Escorpiao
I'm lost in the sea of
In the eternal deep of
My Santa Catarina

Rainbows and Rags to Riches

This song was written and recorded in 2012. I wrote and sang it and had a great producer who arranged it and great musicians who played on it.
