About
- I'm a producer/composer looking for songwriters and singers to work with.
I was a teen in LA during the 80's. That means my influences and tastes are numerous and eclectic. Likewise
my song writting goes through style phases as well.
I started with drums at 10 but never got very good. At 16 LSD inspired me to learn guitar. I was fortunate to receive handful of intro lessons from Steve Stevens and from there I'm self taught.
I started playing in bands and writing songs at 18 in Santa Cruz, CA. I left college early to pursue music.
I got an entry position at a pro studio and began training to engineer. I rapidly advanced to a 1st engineer and Producing. After doing a band's album I became their live engineer and toured with them. Up until the tour I had my own band as well, writing and performing. After the tour I decided to focus on my own band exclusively in order to "make it". After 2 more years I finished my degree, moved to Vegas, and stopped playing music.
Enticed by the production power of computers, I began transferring and remastering analogue recordings from back in the day. That lead to writing and recording one-man-band songs and here I am today.
My playing: I'm a serviceable bass player and a B/B+ guitar player. Self taught, I am undisciplined and sloppy, and my chops are limited. But I have a great ear and make up for my deficit in technical prowess with [removed] I'm engaged with my 80's punk rock roots.

I'm satisfied with my current masturbatory, solo music [removed] down though, I want to revive politicism and social criticism in music. The current "Guns, drugs, bitches, and money." message is killing me. "Why stand on a silent platform? Fight the war. Fuck the norm!"
