Within lies a small peek into the creative works from the heart and soul of Lane McNees showcasing 38 years of passion to create music that invokes feeling and meaning with the ability to turn even the smallest ideas into grandeur.
Experience includes helping many artists obtain their unique sound including Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Steve Stevens (Billy Idol), Tom Morello (Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave), Warren Cuccurullo (Missing Persons, Duran Duran), James Iha (The Smashing Pumpkins, A Perfect Circle), Brad Gillis (Night Ranger, Damn Yankees) and others.
As lead guitarist for the psychobilly cow punk band Doublewide, Lane had the privilege of sharing the stage with a variety of artists including Reverend Horton Heat, Southern Culture On The Skids, Hank Williams III, The Supersuckers, Sum 41, Bowling For Soup, Chlorine, The Marshall Tucker Band, Nickelback as well as headlining a showcase at the SXSW Festival in Austin, TX.
In today's music world, technology has made it easy to collaborate on a global level. The music landscape is more competitive than ever. It is more important than ever before for your music to stand out from the truly crowded crowd so to speak.
If you have a song, album, EP, or just an idea let Lane sprinkle his magic ears on it. It is always a good idea to have an experienced outside pair of ears listening and guiding. What sounds good can sound great!
