Lyrics by Lauri Paavilainen

Verse 1
I don't know what time it is and I don't care/
I'm lying on a sofa, not going anywhere/
I love my family very much, nothing is as vital as they are/
And I am super happy that now they are very far/

Chorus
The house is empty, no kids, no wife/
This is Home Alone number thirty-five/
The most boring sequel there can be/
just what I need/

Verse2
Life is busy all the time/
And chances to relax are rare/
So laziness is not a crime/
When there's a spot, be aware/
There is always something to do/
And you can just keep pushing through/
But there is also another way/
Have a 'do nothing day'/

Chorus
The house is empty, no kids, no wife/
This is Home Alone number thirty-five/
The most boring sequel there can be/
just what I need/

Verse1
Life was so easy back in the days
Back, when Calories were like a Segway
As soon as they came they faded away
Even though I was in the club every friday

Now I spend my days on the jogging trail
And the numbers just keep getting bigger on the scale
What do you want for christmas?" asked my wife
I said, new knees would be nice

Chorus
Age is just a number, if only it were
I can't travel to the past, even if my mind is there

Verse2
Now going to the clubs is like a farce,
Those kids sound like they are from Mars
I just don't understand that alien code
Even though I'm like ET, I want to go home

Chorus
Age is just a number, if only it were
I can't travel to the past, even if my mind is there

Verse3
I try to be cool, but it's getting hard to stunt
While I tie my shoes, I always have to grunt
When deciding whether to put parquet or laminate on the floor,
It's time to admit that the youth is gone

Chorus
Age is just a number, if only it were
I can't travel to the past, even if my mind is there

Verse 1
I tried to build
A nice wooden shed,
A 3-week sick leave
Is where it ended.

I curse while I shovel the snow
Or while I'm chopping the wood.
I really try to like fishing,
But I am just not like you.

Chorus 1
Dad,
Are you still proud of me?
I'm doing my best
To be a good man.
At times, we are like the sun and the moon.
I still love you.

Verse 2
It was silent on the boat,
The fish didn't bite.
It wasn't the only thing
That wasn't right.
I should've done that more often with you,
Instead, I was just working in my room.

I realized it fast, you were not like me.
You learned to sing before you could speak.
I was proud, but embarrassed too.
I could not sing the simplest tune.

Chorus 2
Son,
I wish you could see.
I'm doing my best
To be a good man.
At times, we are like the sun and the moon.
I still love you.

Verse 3
Whenever you sing, it's off-key,
Still, you sang a lullaby to me
When I was going to sleep.
Back then, I told you to stop,
But now it means much to me.

Now we meet at Christmas time,
Pretending all is fine.
But neither of us is blind.
You asked me to pass the wine.
It's our only bond tonight.

Chorus 3
Hey,
Could you please understand?
You are a really good man,
And I am proud of you.

Why can't I say it out loud?
