Lyrics by Octavus Owens
mess with the wrong team
**LIONS! LIONS! LIONS!**
Eight games!
No losses!
Lockport—
**LET’S GO!**
**[HOOK]**
Yellow, blue, gold, when you see it, better know,
Lockport Lions pullin' up, eight-and-O!
No losses on the board, yeah, we came for the crown,
When we step between them lines, better hold it down!
L-I-O-N-S, let the whole crowd know,
One team, one goal—
**EIGHT AND O!**
You can talk all week, but when the lights get bright,
Lockport Lions hit the field—
**GAME TIME!**
**[VERSE 1 — EVAN / QB]**
Evan in the pocket, got the vision and the arm,
Ball flying to the receiver, putting pressure on the squad.
He can read the whole field, make the right call,
Put it right in your hands—then we taking off!
Talent in his game, yeah, the future looking bright,
Every snap, every drive, he bringing that fight.
When Evan calls the play, everybody get set,
Lockport offense coming—
**You ain't seen nothing yet!**
**[VERSE 2 — YOU / RUNNING BACK]**
Give me the ball, I'm gone, ain't stopping my feet,
Run through the gap, bring the whole crowd to their feet.
No hesitation, I'm attacking every lane,
Defense see the jersey and remember the name.
One cut, two steps, now I'm breaking away,
You better chase hard 'cause I'm running all day.
Yellow, blue, gold, got the pride in my chest,
Lockport Lions on the field—
**We ain't settling for less!**
**[VERSE 3 — JUSTIN]**
Justin on the return, watch him hit them jets,
Five kick returns already—
**Ain't done yet!**
Kick it deep, he coming back, ball locked in his hands,
Fast through the lane, now he's making his advance.
You can throw it his way, he's coming down with that,
Eyes on the football, never losing where it's at.
Kickoff comes down—crowd starts screaming loud,
Justin got the ball—
**HE'S OUT THE CROWD!**
**[VERSE 4 — ALEX]**
Alex grew up with us, now he's back in the game,
Best attitude on the team, remember that name.
Miss one? Next play, he's ready to go,
Catch the next one clean—
**That's the Lion code!**
Never let one play determine what you do,
Shake it off, line up, come right back through.
Heart of a Lion, always ready for the fight,
Alex on the outside—
**Make the catch under the lights!**
**[VERSE 5 — DJ]**
DJ in the air, going up for the ball,
Bad throw, good throw, he still catching them all.
Eyes on the football, hands ready to secure,
Quarterback puts it up—
**DJ bringing it home!**
Crowd going crazy every time he makes the play,
Lockport got weapons lined up every way.
You thought that ball was out?
Nah, DJ said “NO!”
He coming down with it—
**THAT'S HOW LIONS GO!**
**[BREAK — O-LINE CHANT]**
Who makes the holes?
**O-LINE!**
Who keeps Evan clean?
**O-LINE!**
Who gives the backs room?
**O-LINE!**
Who makes this offense move?
**O-LINE!**
Big men up front, putting work in the trenches,
Every single snap, they protecting our offense.
No spotlight needed, they already know their role,
They pave the road so the Lions can roll.
Respect to the line, they're the heart of the drive,
They keep the whole offense moving—
**That's how we survive!**
**[VERSE 6 — DAV]**
Then Dav hit the field, better watch that lane,
Big energy running, bringing pressure to the game.
Try to stop him? Better bring the whole crew,
He keeps pushing forward, that's what Lions do.
Run game strong, every yard earned,
Defense getting tired while the scoreboard turns.
Dav coming through with that power and speed,
Lockport got the fire—
**Everything we need!**
**[HOOK — BIGGER]**
Yellow, blue, gold, when you see it, better know,
Lockport Lions pullin' up, eight-and-O!
No losses on the board, yeah, we came for the crown,
When we step between them lines, better hold it down!
L-I-O-N-S, let the whole crowd know,
One team, one goal—
**EIGHT AND O!**
You can talk all week, but when the lights get bright,
Lockport Lions hit the field—
**GAME TIME!**
**[LANCASTER CALL-OUT]**
Lancaster, we remember,
Yeah, we know what went down,
Now the Lions coming back
With the whole team around.
No disrespect—
Just business on the field,
You wanted that matchup?
**Now let's see what's real!**
**[FINAL CHANT]**
ONE TEAM!
**ONE FAMILY!**
ONE GOAL!
**EIGHT AND O!**
WHO ARE WE?!
**LOCKPORT!**
WHAT ARE WE?!
**LIONS!**
WHAT'S THE RECORD?!
**EIGHT! AND! O!**
YELLOW!
**BLUE!**
**GOLD!**
**LOCKPORT LIONS—
LET'S GO!**
**[OUTRO]**
No matter who lines up,
No matter who we face,
We play for the jersey,
We play for the place.
One play at a time,
Every teammate got your back,
Lockport Lions on the field—
**NOW LET'S ATTACK!**
Eight games!
No losses!
Lockport—
**LET’S GO!**
